Honey Magazine is a student-led, print-only publication at SCAD, that released it’s inaugural issue in May 2026. As part of the editorial team, I collaborated with students to coordinate content and support the magazine’s development through every stage of production, from early content planning to final publication.
I had the opportunity to interview SCAD alumna Mona Bozorgi (M.F.A Photography) for an alumni profile highlighting her first exhibition at the SCAD Museum of Art, as part of SCAD’s annual deFINE ART event. In addition to writing her profile, I attended all exhibitions and conducted research on the other visiting artists featured in the event, for a related editorial feature.
I also co-interviewed SCAD Illustration Professor Mike Wimmer alongside student writer Miel Miranda for a faculty spotlight profile.
My additional contributions included research and writing for an editorial feature on the SCAD Equestrian team, as well as a spotlight segment on an accessory design student’s senior collection.
The images included are the magazine’s front and back cover, as well as select pages featuring my writing.
